The JHA has led a number of projects geared towards preserving the history of the Junaluska community. Childhood recollections, special events, stories about loved ones, family pictures, descriptions of weekly dinners--all of these things are important and collecting your contributed memories will ensure that future generations will have access to information about their heritage and communal roots.
The Association stores your contributions in an online database. This information may become public at some point in the future, whether through JHA events or research articles. If you are uncomfortable with providing your name, you are welcome to upload a photograph or story anonymously. We value your meaningful contributions!
Do you have any memories about the Boone Mennonite Brethren Church? Please share those stories or images with us on our contribution page! You can either write up your story in text format or upload a photograph.
Your memories are important to the preservation of Junaluska's history and will help with the JHA's preparations for the 2018 Boone Mennonite Brethren Centennial Celebration as the Association attempts to collect and present stories for the event.
